We are working on behalf of a client company, an independent insurance agency, to find qualified Sales Representatives to join their Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and selling medium and larger commercial lines insurance accounts. The ideal candidate is good with people; able to think outside the box; willing to roll up your sleeves and work hard; passionate about improving oneself; and able to gain respect and loyalty from others.

Insurance experience is not a requirement, and training and financial support will be provided for the right candidate. Upon job offer, you will be required to obtain an insurance license.

Responsibilities:
Research and source potential clients and build long-term relationships with them
Present, promote, and sell the company’s insurance products
Help customers select the most appropriate insurance policies for their needs
Reassess the policy needs of existing clients as circumstances warrant
Fill out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records, and prepare reports
Stay abreast of industry and market trends and best practices

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
Prior experience in a professional Sales position with a track record of success
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Organized with great time management abilities
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
