This position is located in Opelika, AL; relocation package is provided

This client company is conducting a confidential search to find an EH&S professional to work with the current team to develop a world-class EH&S culture ensuring environmental compliance and eliminating workplace injuries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support to team members and leadership identifying workplace hazards, reporting and investigation of incidents, and developing a comprehensive safety program
• Assist EH&S team members in leading facility EH&S programs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards and government regulations and policies
• Facilitate EH&S training for all team members
• Measure progress toward meeting EH&S goals
• Ensure timely reporting and recordkeeping
• Provide triage and first aid in the event of injury

Minimum requirements:

• Able to relocate to Opelika, AL with company assistance
• Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
• High proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Solid understanding of facilitating a successful EH&S program
• Ability to present and train team members
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to demonstrate effective leadership skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
